The Curiosity Index
This project was my thesis in graduate school at the School of Visual Arts. It followed the stories that unfolded as I explored the history of a singular object.
I had the opportunity to work with professors like Dorothy Twining Globus, Curator of Exhibtions at the Museum of Arts and Design, and my advisor, Carin Goldberg, famed American graphic designer. I found two mentors who appreciated objects and much as I did. Both women pushed me to elevate my research to be both historical and also emotional.

Sitting behind a computer all day often leaves me wanting to make things with my hands in a more tangible way. In my spare time I love to get my hands dirty in my jewelry studio. I'm a total novice, but it's incredibly satisfying to work with metal and stones. Silversmithing is the most satisfying combination of art and good old fashioned elbow grease.
